How do I find a WingZ near me?

To find a WingZ near you, simply open the WingZ app. You’ll automatically be taken to the map screen, showing all available WingZ vehicles in your area. If you don’t see any vehicle icons displayed on the map, zoom out to search a wider area.

How do I unlock a WIngZ On-Demand?

 

To unlock a WingZ scooter, simply open the WingZ app and tap on the “Ride” button at the bottom of the screen. From here, either scan the QR code using your phone’s camera or manually enter the 6-digit vehicle code located beneath the QR code.

Do I need a special license to ride WingZ?

 

No special license is required, but in some states a driver’s license is necessary to ride an electric assist scooter. 

Coupons & Promo

How to earn ride coupons?

You can earn WingZ credits by successfully inviting friends to ride who are new to WingZ. You can do this by sharing your referral code via “Get Free Credits” in the WingZ app menu.

The WingZ credit amount is subject to change.

How to add a promo code?

To add a (valid) promo code to your account, please go to “Promotion” icon which can be found in the app right part of the screen. Then tap “View Promos” and apply your promo code. Once added, it will automatically be applied to your next ride. Please note that only ONE promo code can be applied to every ride, and the promo code with the closest expiration date will be applied first.

My promo code didn’t work

Here are some important things to know about promotions.

You can see the details of your promotions in the “Wallet” section of your app menu.

If you’re not sure if your promotion applied to your most recent trip, check your receipt for the Promotions line item

You must enter the promotion code to your Wallet within the validity period for it to apply

Promotion codes can have expiration dates

Some promotion codes only apply in specific areas

Some promotion codes have limited quantities and are applied on a first-come-first-served basis

Some promotion codes can only be redeemed one time per person

Some promotion codes are only valid for new users who have not take a rider before.

Some promotions are unique to a user and cannot be transferred to another user 

If you have reviewed the list above and your promo code did not work, please submit a request and we will adjust your payment accordingly.

Battery

Is the battery waterproof?

 

The battery is splash proof, meaning it can withstand both rain and snow.

How does WingZ get charged?

 

Our WingZ electric scooters are monitored remotely by both local staff . When a scooter is running low on power, our local staff will replace the battery.

How far can a WingZ go on a single charge?

WingZ has a maximum range of 40 km, depending on usage.

Safety

Are there speed regulations I should know about before riding WingZ ?

 

Most cities have a maximum speed limit of between 17-20 kph. WingZ’s is just below that, at about 17 kph.

What about helmet laws?

 

All cities are different regarding helmet laws and electric assist vehicles. Please consult your local DOT for specific information on helmet laws where you’re riding.

Payment

How should I pay?

You must add Credit Card to the WingZ Wallet :

Adding a Payment Method

To take a Fly on your WingZ, you must first set up a payment method.

  1. Open the app menu by tapping on the icon in the top left corner. 
  2. Tap “Wallet”. 
  3. On the following screen, select the payment method you would like to add. 
  4. Enter and submit your payment details. 
  5. Finally the app will show the Payment screen with your new payment method.

To make sure your new payment method is used as the default one for your upcoming rides, tap on the checkmark to the left of the payment method name. The app shows a green checkmark next to the default payment method. You can always change your default payment method by tapping on the checkmark next to the payment method of choice.

The payment will be automatically deducted from you card at the end of your Fly

I started the trip and was immediately charged 5 Azn. Why? Will I get the difference back if I hit a smaller amount?

To avoid fraud,  we use a payment control mechanism. When the service is activated, a deposit of 5 azn is taken from the registered card, taking into account the activation amount and the driving time according to the cost per minute. After the time covered by the deposit has expired, the system will try to take the next 5 azn deposit for the next period of time, and so on, after each covered period of the trip. At the end of the trip, if the duration of the last trip interval is less than the amount of the deposit, the difference is returned to the renter’s card up to three working days. (For example, if the renter traveled for 3 manats at the end of the trip the system will return 2 manats.)

If I don’t have enough money on the balance :

Your balance will be negative, and we will try to charge your card every entry to WingZ application or few times a week .
